Wandering through a book store waiting for something(a song idea) to reach out and grab me!!!! I’m ready any time. I often peruse bookstores (chapters in particular). Basically I stick my high rubber boots on and start fishing…
I hold a big red cape out for the bull to smash into me!
I put the cheese in the mouse trap and am awaiting the little wiskers ( but I’d grab the little mouse before it got Hurt)
Anyways…I try and surrender in hopes that an idea with show up..
But no pressure idea..I just wanted you to know that I’m ready when you are!!!!
On another note…am I the only one who can’t find anything to get excited about in the video store! (movies are another way of getting inspired to write music).
The only good thing is that dexter season 2 is in and I have been looking forward to it! If you haven’t seen dexter it is a tv series about a serial killer who kills serial killers…scary but also funny..and bizarre all at the same time.
Maybe the half mouse half bull half fish will appear in my dreams tonite….stay tuned!!

Hey Jess,
Speaking of mice, I was at a concert after-party at the Roxy in Vancouver and I am pretty shy so I wasn’t drunk or dancing or talking to anyone , so I was just doing basically nothing, I was staring at the floor and mice were scurrying around the floor!!! I couldn’t believe that place is infested with MICCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Swear to God.
No one else sees them because they are totally out of it!
No I have not heard about Dexter but I have seen it at the video stores. Sounds interesting, I’ll have to check it out.
Not much in the video stores at the moment. Iron Man is coming soon, it was really good. Nightmare Before Christmas ( the new 2 disc version ) is really great if you are a fan of Tim Burton. They include a couple of his older films on it as well. I have seen them before, but it’s nice to finally have them on dvd. Frankenweenie and his first film Vincent have never been on dvd before.
How did you like Sweeney Todd? Not a lot of people I know really liked it but I did. You seem to be the type that would like it ( I don’t mean that in a bad way, I just mean I think you would find it amusing ) I sure did love most of it. I think some of the songs could have been better however. ( for a famous-ish musical)
If you like Rent, they are playing the LAST EVER performance of RENT in cineplexs this month. It will only be played 4 times. So get cha tix. I am the biggest EVER rent head and that musical seriously is pure genius and is magical and touching.
And if you can’t find anything to watch you can always see yourself open for toby kieth hehe.
Just bugging ya
Hope this helps.
Jeff
