We arrived in Lethbridge a few hours ago and it is very windy and beautiful out. I just did a singing lesson on my iPhone did some stretching had a big salad for lunch in catering and got an interview done.
Now Kylee (my back-up singer) and I are going for a walk.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon in Calgary. I got a bee in my bonnet to go find a massage. Long story short I ended up in the weirdest place ever! Still makes me laugh thinking about it.
She basically scratched me and beat me up. I’d say about 3 minutes out of 30 min was kind of enjoyable???
I was going to ask her if she was a fake masseuse but decided just to get out of there!!
Looking forward to the show tonight

great show in PG! Best part of the show. You should come up for your own bill!
Hi Jessie, I heard you for the first time last night in Lethbridge. You were my favorite musical group of the night. You have a great voice, and the group was entertaining–loved the bassist! The end of the show was an excellent musical send-off. Anyway, wanted to say it was good to hear your music. I hope you never lose the passion for performing that you have now…or fall prey to musical methodology…there’s lots of us out there who really enjoy musical sincerity. It’s refreshing. All the best! ~Amy PS I think I know where you went for a massage! “Art” is subjective
funny story about the massage…i would have left 2…lol
Once more, I have to say kudos on a ridiculously entertaining blog…. sounds like one sketchy massage place.
Hope the final show is great.
Amy, I’m really touched by your calling my performance sincere and refreshing. I can only be me, that’s the only way I can be happy so I’m very thankful for your compliment! Thanks Stew for the best wishes and for encouraging me to come back. I hope to be back soon! And yeah, Alicia, it was definitely a weird place!
See you all soon and Happy Thanksgiving!
xo Jessie
