Happy Release Day!

I wrote this this morning but have been running around all day!

I’m up an hour early for press on the day of my new cd release! Standing in an empty lobby all dressed up and nowhere to go.. I suppose me standing in a big empty lobby is kind of like all the little plastic wrapped CDs sitting there on the shelves getting prepared for their first day of cd players… I don’t know..I guess a cd can’t prepare itself! Must have more sleeeeep.

Anyways I just wanted to send a note out on the day of the release of “Good, Bad, & Pretty Things” and say that I put my favourite songs I have written on this record and I am nervously and (well honestly I am freaking out a little) awaiting your responses!!!

I hope you love it.

Thanks to all you early birds who downloaded “Things” and sent me a message last night..you helped me sleep better. Seriously you did!!

Now I’m going to sit in a coffee shop ( if they are open at 5:30am???) and appreciate the fact that I got the chance to make this album and that soon enough ( fingers crossed) if i should be so lucky…the cover of my cd ( which includes me lying in the grass) will in actuality be lying cracked and worn next to your driving fav’s on the floor or side pockets of your trucks,mini vans,beaters, and bugs. Xoxo

    Really have enjoyed your new cd… I even listened to all of it at work and now today at school while studing… thank you for comming out with another cd… looking forward to your next one :)

    I have listened to the new albbum a few times and so far my favs are: You Make me Feel, Burn so Bright, Sober, and I looovve Not in Kansas! Might have to put that one in my wedding somehow.

    I am on the MEI volleyball team that you met in the Edmonton Airport last Wednesday night (October 7) Oh and right after we left we watched one of your music videos on one of the girls’ iPods!

    I love your new cd I will say my favorite song on it is You Make Me Feel .I listen to that song about at least 5 times in a day.I met you at Centrepointe Theatre in Ottawa on October 17th when I met you are so sweet to talk to I hope I will see you soon.Keep up your hard work.

    I love your new cd my favorite song is you make me feel i listen to that song about 5 times a day.I met you for the first time at Centre Pointe Theatre in Ottawa and you put on a really great show you have high energy on stage .Ihope to see you soon.
