We arrived in Lethbridge a few hours ago and it is very windy and beautiful out. I just did a singing lesson on my iPhone did some stretching had a big salad for lunch in catering and got an interview done.

Now Kylee (my back-up singer) and I are going for a walk.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon in Calgary. I got a bee in my bonnet to go find a massage. Long story short I ended up in the weirdest place ever! Still makes me laugh thinking about it.
She basically scratched me and beat me up. I’d say about 3 minutes out of 30 min was kind of enjoyable???

I was going to ask her if she was a fake masseuse but decided just to get out of there!!

Looking forward to the show tonight

We are arriving in Calgary for our day off. We played Kamloops in Sunday and I was able to get a good work out in. There is something kind of strange about working out in a hockey arena..kind of liking being in a mall when it is closed..fun but you kind if feel like like you shouldn’t be there. This just made sense to me but may not have made sense to you..,?

So far the crowds have all been great! I have been signing in the stands after Aaron’s show so that is a really great chance for me to meet and talk to fans.

Last night I met a girl named Jenn and she was so sweet, she had a sign in the parking lot as we arrived in Prince George welcoming TK myself and Aaron. Jenn I want you to know that I did sign some posters for you and your friends but my road manager couldn’t find you out in the crowd!

I’m bundled up on the bus and am looking forward to being in a hotel tonight. I’m also going to go to my favourite yoga place in Calgary. It feels like a spa there and it helps me get stretched out after being nervous!!

We got to play an extra song in Prince George. I played a new one called Leave it to a man. It went well and it was fun to see the reaction.

The dresses are going well..last night I used a great new spray bronzed and had a little black dress with embroidered roses on it and a bug fuscia bow..it’s one of my new favourites!

I met TK’s agent last night. Nice guy. Wow he must have a stressful/busy job and you can tell by the way he chews his gum like a hockey coach..you know where you can see their speedy thoughts with each chew..

Pulling into our hotel now. Looking forward to a nice hot cup of tea.

I’m backstage after playing in Kamloops tonite. Toby is out there playing. I just met the songwriter who is on the road writing with him..he’s co written a lot of Toby’s hits!
And…I just met Toby! But I will be able to chat with him more in Calgary…

The audience in Kamloops was great. I got a bit emotional while singing Fell Right Into You with everyone singing along. And I got goosebumps during Best of Me!

Thanks to everyone for coming to the tea party. I even got chocolates from Stu and Colleen!

Xoxo now off to Prince George! It’ll be the first time I play there. I’m getting a tiny bit less nervous every night so that is good.

It’s 7am and I am doing my final pack for the bus….if only I could find my wallet???

I had a great time playing GM Place last night. For those of you who weren’t at the show, Aaron Pritchett and I are the opening acts for Toby Keith’s 6 date Canadian tour.

The Fan Club Tea Party went well and the show was great! There are a few tickets to some of the tea parties left so if you want to have tea with me before the show, click here! I was able to run up after Aaron’s set and meet some people and sign some t shirts and cds! I am from Vancouver so it was a real dream of mine to play GM Place.

Thanks to everyone who came to the show and thanks to Madeline who gave me a very pretty rose! It is in a vase in my kitchen!

I knew I forgot something..gotta grab my tooth brush!

We are all meeting to jump on the bus and head up to Kamloops. My band did a great job last night. I am very proud of them and thanks to everyone who helped organize my meet and greets and thanks Rose for doing such a great job at all my fan club details!

I’m pretty excited about this! As a lot of you know, a fan club has been set up on my website and we just found out that there are 10 spots for 10 people to sign up to come and have tea with me at each stop on the Toby Keith Tour.  Rather then stand around and chat in the hallway of the stadium, I thought I would make a big batch of cookies ( or buy my favourite ones if I am too rushed and have a pot of tea and have a tea and cookie Meet and Greet!  Since this is not primarily my tour and I am lucky to have a little “moment in the spotlight “…I am so grateful that we have been allowed to do a short but sweet Meet and Greet. If this tea and cookie thing goes well then I plan on making it a fun thing to do before all my shows in the future. As you probably know from my blogs, I drink a lot of tea so I thought it was kind of  a fun idea…  You have to be a fan club member and you have to already have tickets to go to the show.
